Dries Van Noten continues his Fall/Winter 2019 tie-dye motif with the release of three tote bags, two of which made from canvas and one from quilted nylon.
Tie-dye was a big theme at Van Noten’s FW19 Paris Fashion Week runway, showcasing suits, coats and trousers adorned with unique multicolored and monochromatic designs. Since its runway presentation, the Belgian designer has released a number of tie-dyed pieces such a pair of bold straight-leg jeans.
Adding to the flower-power theme is the release of three tie-dyed tote bags. The canvas offerings are finished with black leather detailing for the handles, trim and zipper pull, as well as matte silver-toned hardware and a patch pocket in the interior. The colorful iteration mimics the design of the aforementioned jeans, while the bleached black offering provides a more subtle aesthetic.
There is also a quilted nylon tote bag which features an all-over monochromatic tie-dye design. It features the same hardware as its canvas counterparts, and comes in the same size — 18.5” height x 19.0” width x 4.0” depth with an 8” handle drop.
Pick up all three bags from retailers such as Barneys New York now. The canvas totes are priced at $600 USD and the nylon for $645 USD.
